1. Current use
Trace currently uses essential browser storage needed to authenticate users, protect sessions, remember functional state, and deliver opted-in browser notifications. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising trackers.
2. Essential session cookies
Trace uses a secure, HTTP-only, host-only session cookie after successful verification. It lets the selected domain recognize the signed-in user and expires automatically. Because it is host-only, a session for the main Trace domain is not silently shared with customer tenant subdomains.
3. Functional browser storage
The application may use browser storage, service workers, and Firebase installation identifiers to support notification preferences and push delivery. Push notifications are registered only after browser permission and can be disabled in the browser or Trace preferences.
4. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data through browser settings. Blocking essential storage will prevent sign-in and may stop core features from working. Disabling notifications does not prevent normal use of the application.
5. Changes
If Trace introduces non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, this policy and the consent experience will be updated before those technologies are enabled where consent is required. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
